BTECH: INTERIOR DESIGN 2014

PROJECT 1: ICE-BREAKER

The following project was completed in groups along with the second and third year Interior Design students as an ice-breaker. Our idea was to create a mechanism which would give people access to water for daily tasks in an affordable manner, which would specifically cater towards those from disadvantaged areas where water is not readily available.
This project was a Cape Town Design Capital competition project, which encourages and promotes innovative design solutions.

PROJECT 3: FLOATING WALL EXERCISE

Project 3 required the students in pairs to analyse 2 existing Art Galleries and to design a floating wall in the chosen gallery, which harmonises with the existing design approach.

PROJECT 5: HARRINGTON STREET ART GALLERY AND COMMUNITY CENTRE

This brief was to prepare the students on designing of Art Galleries with extra income generators. This would then further assist in the PG Bison Competition which required innovative design approach to the existing Johannesburg Art Gallery.

Project 6: PG BISON COMPETITION - JAG

I was fortunate to be chosen out of a select few out of my class to submit this project to PG BISON as they only allow a certain amount of students per university.
