An idea that I have had before finishing high school was to use au pairing as a way to travel, live in a new country, experience a different culture, learning a new language, meeting and networking with people form all across the world. My first goal was to complete my diploma or undergraduate degree and gain experience in Architectural practices before doing so.

After completing my National Diploma in Architectural Technology in 2011 and working for 2 different companies during and after my studies until the end of 2012, it was now time to turn these plans and make them a reality. All paper work done, host family organized, schengen visa received; and on a flight with KLM to the Netherlands.
